On the Ball campaign

The Cancer52 report highlights how important fast referral by the GP is for successful treatment of Sarcoma. So, if you haven't already done so, please apply for Sarcoma UK's On the Ball pack to give to your GP.

Inside the GP pack is:

  • A letter to your GP
  • 'Is it Sarcoma?' golf ball keyring
  • Sarcoma Diagnostic Tool for GPs

Cancer52 Report

Cancer52 is an alliance of nearly 80 predominantly small charities united in their vision of seeing a better future for everyone affected by the rare and less common cancers. Their report, published today, shows how rare Sarcoma is:

New cases of cancer diagnosed in 2012, England as a percentage of all cancers Cancer Type Cases % of Total Sarcoma: connective and soft tissue 1609 0.57% Sarcoma: Bone 515 0.18%
